Ray Ramsay, President
Ray Ramsay is Founder, President and General Manager of Britt Land Services.
A landman for over 28 years, Ray has extensive experience and knowledge
in negotiating inter-company deals, preparing associated agreements, surface
and mineral negotiations, acquisitions and documentation. Having worked
in-house, Ray has a strong understanding of how various departments integrate
and is often called upon for strategic planning advice related to the energy
industry.An active member of CAPL, having achieved his P. Land designation, he is also a member of AAPL, IRWA and CAPLA.
Brian Williams, Surface Land Manager
Brian is a strong leader and invaluable member of Britt Land Services.
Having been with the company since 1990, Brian is actively involved in
surface and mineral lease acquisitions and seismic (3-D and Linear) programs
as he supervises, coordinates and advises our land agents. His strong knowledge
and skill in land acquisitions, combined with his experience in the military
and cattle ranching are a definite asset when negotiating with landowners.
Brian is a Commissioner for Oaths in Alberta and Saskatchewan and holds
a diploma from the Olds College Land Agent Program.
Dayna Morgan, Manager, Land Administration
Dayna started with Britt Land Services in 1999. She has an extensive knowledge
of regulatory procedures and industry requirements and works closely with
all staff to ensure all administrators and land agents share her expertise. She
has developed a mentorship management style which promotes solution-based
dialogue ensuring optimum results for our clients. Dayna is a member of
CAPLA and has completed the Petroleum Land Contract and Administration
program at Mount Royal College. She is currently enrolled in the Management
Certificate Program at the University of Calgary. Dayna supervises, coordinates,
and advises the entire land administration team at Britt Land Services.
Jacquie Seper, Office Manager, Grande
Prairie
Jacquie came to Britt Land in 2006 with over six years of business
experience as an operator and owner of her own company. Her strong ability
to take on new challenges and learn new skills has been a great asset to her
development as a Land Administrator and Office Manager. Jacquie first
started in our Calgary office and then moved to Grande Prairie. She quickly
learnt all of the aspects of Land Administration from start to finish, as
well as coordinating the Grande Prairie office to ensure everything runs
smoothly. Her positive personality and friendly attitude are valuable to the
Britt team.
Cara Janke, Human Resources Manager
Cara has been with Britt Land since 2004. She has over 15 years experience
in the Human Resources area and has been integral in creating a positive
and rewarding environment at Britt. Cara has a degree
in Psychology from the University of Calgary along with a focus in
management which has played a role in implementing various HR strategies
at Britt. Her interpersonal skills, coupled with her effective
management style are valuable assets to the Britt culture.
Brittney Ramsay, Manager, Business
Development
Brittney has been actively involved with Britt Land Services since early 2007.
She plays an integral role in creating and maintaining strong client and industry
relationships. Her excellent interpersonal skills combined with her genuine interest
in the success of Britt Land allow her to excel in this role. In addition to
Business Development, Brittney works to facilitate and maintain the communications
between Britt Land’s internal staff and its clients. Brittney is an active member of CAPLA
and received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Calgary.
