AER Renewal Initiative Project
We expect that by now you have received the information email(s) sent out the week of January 9th from the AER notifying you of their Renewal Initiative project.
Please take a moment to review our BRITT bulletin outlining the project and the AER’s expectations for expiring dispositions in the near future.
As of 22 February 2017 the AER will be cancelling all expired dispositions, the disposition holder will no longer have rights to enter lands; whether there is current activity or not. This initiative is a onetime offer from the AER, you don’t want to miss.
We can help:
Let us know if and what emails you have received
Let’s set up a call or we can pop over for a coffee to review your disposition spreadsheet together and determine compliance, next steps and answer any questions you have
There are specific processes you will need to keep in mind when completing the spreadsheet and addressing expiries
Our Crown subject matter experts attended the AER’s information session, and have an in depth understanding of requirements
We can discuss strategies moving forward to complete renewals, amendments, non-entries prior to the expiry timeline set out under Public Land Administration Regulation (PLAR)
